Once a month, the MPC meeting • The rate decision has the strongest impact on stocks and the exchange rate. Dates should be confirmed from the CBRT official calendar.
TÜİK Consumer Inflation (CPI)
First week of each month • Higher than expected inflation delays interest rate cut expectations.
US Fed Interest Rate Decision (FOMC)
8 meetings per year • Affects global risk appetite; determines capital flows to emerging markets.
US Inflation (CPI)
Mid-month • Moves Fed expectations; affects BIST opening on the same day.
Earnings Season
January-April-July-October • Companies announce quarterly financials; significant stock movements occur on earnings days.
Dividend Distribution Period

BIST Trading Hours
